The Company

Almax was established in 1966, and was the first independent workshop to build dies for extruding aluminium in Southern Europe.

Managers and technicians trained at its 'school'. They then worked in what are still the main die production companies in Italy.

In 1987 Almax moved from Zingonia (BG) to Mori (TN), and set up an extremely advanced production unit. Almax was the first company on the European scenario to use integrated CAD-CAM systems and numeric control machines as part of the die production process, at a time when everything was still done by hand.

Almax's growth through time also entailed partnerships with internationally important customers, believing in the value of shared skills and experience to drive forward day by day the application potential of aluminium profiles.

Almax's farsighted commitment is confirmed by the on-going updating of its personnel, focussing on the progress of technologies and on constant improvement of the internal organisation.

Today Almax operates for the best European and International extruders, offering decades of experience and renewed entrepreneurial capability in designing and producing dies and equipment for quality extrusion.
